The Davis Musical Theatre Company's Young Performers' Theatre (YPT) is an all-volunteer organization. Actors ages 7 through 17 may participate - 18-year-old high school students are also encouraged to participate. No experience is required, but selection is by audition.

2025 - 2026 Season - Upcoming Shows

Finding Nemo Jr - May 2 through May 24, 2026

School Matinees: May 5, 2026; 9:15am and noon

Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Disney's Moana Jr - July 24 through August 2, 2026

How far will you go? This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana Jr. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.
